So so good. Wide selection of food, interesting immersion of mexican and american foods (avocado fries--delish),and reasonably priced. I will defintely be going back!!

Being a vegan, finding food in a Mexican restaurant that I can eat is usually hopeless. At Avocado, there are several choices- they even allowed me to customize an entree recently. The made-at-the-table guacamole is some of the best I've had anywhere, and it's been consistent with the several different waitstaff who've served us. The staff is very friendly and responsive and they seem genuinely appreciative of the business. How ironic that you'd have to leave the City of Newburgh to get good Mexican cuisine.

The restaurant is very clean and has an excellent atmosphere. It is authentic Mexican style mixed with American flair. The food was very good, although I prefer spicy food and this was a bit bland for Mexican. I had several mixed drinks and they were all very well flavored and served just the way I like. Overall very good restaurant and the food was great, I just wanted spicier food from a Mexican place.

Absolutely AMAZING! The food was incredible from the chips and salsa they served right through the main courses. We went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and although it was an hour drive for us to get there, it was definitely worth it. They serve a lot of entrees that you don't see at most Mexican restaurants (way more than just tacos and burritos) and everything was delicious (their cream of corn soup is my favorite). Our waitstaff was very helpful and friendly and really helped to make the night a memorable and enjoyable time for everyone. If you go, you MUST have their sangria.....best I've had hands down!!!

We were driving through the Hudson River Valley area and decided to stop due to the sign stating Mexican food. The restaurant was incredibly clean, wet lit and friendly. The service was great and the food was OUTSTANDING!!

I had the paella, My wife had a shrimp burrito. The paella was very good, lotsa shrimp, clams, mussels, fish, pork , chicken, & chorizo. The shrimp burrito was also very good. I will be going back.
